Yorkshire Housing

Going from strength to strength

Member, Development committee - £3k pa

Yorkshire Housing is a strong, well established charitable housing association and social enterprise. We own and manage more than 18,000 social, affordable and market rent homes throughout the region and, as a major housing developer, we have ambitious plans to grow our house building programme further. We also provide a range of high quality housing and care services helping people with support needs to live independent lives.

With effective governance vital to the current and future success of Yorkshire Housing you will provide a vital role in anticipating, identifying and managing risk, ensuring we comply with our statutory and regulatory responsibilities and that we promote a robust and effective approach to business assurance across all our activities.

Your professional experience could be drawn from any field or sector, what matters is that you have the ability to apply your senior level experience in property development, which may include specialisms  in housebuilding, construction, commercial and residential property contracts and negotiations. You will be strategic in outlook with ability to understand and analyse complex information and provide independent and constructive challenge to our Board and Executive.

For an informal discussion please contact Bill Barkworth on 07706 369273 or 020 3434 0990 or Gera Patel on 020 3434 0978. You can download the recruitment pack from www.campbelltickell.com/jobs or by emailing YHDC@campbelltickell.com
