Design office in East Lancashire looking to appoint a Senior Architect to an Associate role.
Your new company
This successful UK design and engineering consultancy has offices across the country, with a hub based in East Lancashire. Based in a town centre location with free car parking nearby, they are easily accessible from Manchester and Preston with just under 45 mins commute. They have a broad range of project design work on the books currently in both the private and public sectors, and have an urgent need for an Associate Architect to lead the design and delivery of schemes in house.
Your new role
Working within a busy design office you will be responsible for taking the lead in the design, delivery and management of schemes through the office. Projects range from small scale refurbishment projects through to £30m developments, and this role will require someone who is looking to establish themselves in a more senior role by getting to grips with projects, assigning work to other team members, and dealing with clients and contractors to provide information and coordinate delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a Chartered Architect with proven post part III experience working in a lead role within a private practice or multi-disciplinary organisation. You will have managed small teams, and will have taken responsibility for the delivery of schemes up to £10m in value. Revit skills will be required for this role, although candidates with an intermediate knowledge could be considered depending on project background and experience.
What you'll get in return
This is a great opportunity to fulfil your ambition to become an Associate with a large organisation and develop your career in Lancashire. The firm offers flexible working patterns, pension, and other benefits.
