Senior Planner job, working in Development Management in South London paying £32 per hour.

This South London based local authority encompasses an interesting mix of residential and commercial space with a diverse demographic to match. The council is one of the smaller London Boroughs but has a reputation for being well ran and offering good progression for contractors and permanent staff alike. There are excellent rail, bus and underground links to the rest of London via the Northern Line.
Your new role
In this planning job, You will be tasked with managing large scale planning applications in the borough and making sure that the council is getting the most from important developments and maximising relationships with key stakeholders. There are several large schemes in the pipeline and underway that you can put your name to and make a real impact within a short space of time.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have an RTPI recognised planning degree and masters or an international equivalent. You will have a track record in working with a council or planning consultancy processing or assisting with planning applications. Your communication skills, ability to meet tight deadlines and strengths in project management will allow you to see through politically important planning applications.
What you'll get in return
You'll be offered an hourly rate of £32 per hour and a six month contract to work with the council. You will get access to parking and work related travel expenses paid for. This council also offer remote working and the option to work from home for 1 day per week. Primarily, you will be able to put your name to large scale applications in the area which will significantly develop your career in planning.
