Having successfully secured the placements of several senior members of staff within the Design team here, Conrad Consulting are proud to be working in partnership with our industry leading client to recruit an experienced and well qualified FF&E Designer.

Our client, a specialist property developer located in the heart of Cheshire has experienced significant success in their storied history. This has predominantly been within the high-end student accommodation sector, with their flagship new constructions pioneering their recent success. Other success here has come been providing luxury serviced apartments and high-end private Rental sector (PRS) schemes.

The vacancy we have currently is for a FF&E designer, offering perhaps a more commercially appealing opportunity than one associated with a traditional design studio.

Working closely with the design director and the project designers, you will be responsible for sourcing and documenting of FF&E across all design sectors. Ideally you will have an excellent knowledge of products and current trends, allowing you to have real influence over the design process. You will be asked to work within project budgets. A strict knowledge of costings is essential to your future success within this role.

The task of enhancing and furthering the 'brand standards' within this exciting company is one that requires product research and the formation of relationships with preferred suppliers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

" Research and sourcing background information, images and technical specifications.
" Liaising with suppliers and product representatives
" Preparing and updating design specifications, collating and amending data.
" Preparation and production of design presentations
" Preparation of furniture drawings.
" Managing and confidently delivering internal board presentations
" Managing budgets
" Other general office support tasks, including the set up and management of a materials and product library, both physical and online

To be considered for the role you must hold a Degree or equivalent in Interior Design, a specialisation in FF&E would be seen as an advantage. Ideally you will have 6+ years post-qualification experience, preferably within the hospitality sector.

Autocad, Sketchup, MS Office, Indesign and Photoshop experience is required.

If you believe you possess the creative acumen to be considered for the role and have the ability to perform to an exceptionally high standard then we would be happy to consider you for the opportunity at hand.

An incredibly competitive salary is available at circa £40k.
