Senior Procurement Coordinator
A senior procurement co-ordinator is currently being sought for a permanent position by a well established design consultancy specialising in international luxury hotel design. You will be responsible for the purchasing & procurement for all areas of large, multi-key hotels.
This role requires you to be responsible for working with the FF&E, interior design teams and finance department working on multiple propjects from specification, liaising with supliers, tendering, quotation analysis, issue of purchase orders, tracking orders, delivery and site installation.
Ongoing role requirements will include, maintaining and improving all Supplier discount arrangements, ensuring a flow of new Suppliers, that are capable and competitive, build and manage vendor relationships and assist in building effective partnerships.
Essential attributes for this role include a sound understanding of the procurement process, experience dealing with a global supply base, a strong track record of negotiating, buying terms, negotiating contractual arrangements and strong knoweldge of dealing with import / export logistics.
You will need to demonstrate strong organisational and administrative skills, good business and financial acumen, a good level of computer literacy and have a confident, assertive and professional approach.
