Interior Designer (2-3 Years experience)
Conrad Consulting in partnership with an internationally leading property development group is looking for a Junior Interior Designer to join their specialist studio in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.
This globally renowned company has numerous arms to their property development business; Including High-end student accommodation, a luxury serviced apartment concept and a their private rental sector brand. The vacancy we have is for an individual to further the continued success within the luxury student accomodation sector of this thriving business.
The position would suit perfectly a Junior / Intermediate designer with a University degree in Interior Design or equivalent, with 2-3 years minimum post-qualification experience, ideally within the student accomodation or hospitality sectors.

Reporting to the Interiors Design Manager and the senior Interior Designers, you will work with the in-house Interiors team to help design and deliver the interior design of the residential, communal and amenity spaces, which are integral to all branded projects.
You will be required to help to produce presentation material for presentation to the COO and CEO to obtain final design sign off on key items and issues.
You will also be part of the creative team developing and defining the brand standards in line with the core values of the brand. As with all brands, design standards are driven by the end user experience. The brand standard must remain relevant, unique and commercially viable in a competitive market. You will be responsible for researching and leading the research on components and products for the fit out of the residential units and the associated amenity areas. You will be required to work closely with the preferred suppliers to develop solutions that fit the design ethos as well as the budget.
Software requirements - AutoCAD, Sketchup, InDesign, Photoshop.
