A small yet successful design led practice are looking for an Architectural Technician to join them on a long term contract basis. Based in a converted barn office space, you benefit from working in a rural village location in Wiltshire. My client is offering a full time position but also open to considering anyone looking for part time work or looking for slightly flexible hours. A fairly wide range of sectors are covered by the practice, including commercial, education, and high end residential projects. The main area of focus for the next few months, and the reason for this opening, is due to the commencement of working drawings and technical details for a £5million new build home in a very classical style. A successful applicant will have: A minimum of 3 years experience within a UK practice Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and planning applications Experience in technical detailing Experience using AutoCAD as a software Anyone who can demonstrate working on high end residential projects previously would be an advantage, but is not essential. Salary is dependent on experience, but could be up to £25.00 per hour for a more senior individual.
