An Architectural Design & Manufacturing Company in Derbyshire that specialises in Timber Frame Construction are looking to appoint a BIM Coordinator, offering a salary of up to £40,000 per annum doe. The company doesn`t just offer your everyday Timber Frame solutions to houses and extensions but have taken the concept of Timber Frame to enormous levels with completed projects for Universities, Supermarket Chains, Housing Associations, Commercial Offices and Leisure Facilities. Working with some seriously high profile practices in the architecture industry and delivering these solutions from their state of the art facilities, enabling them to manufacture the scale of project they have become accustom to and with the workload increasing all the time, has resulted in this position becoming available. As a BIM Coordinator you will have the opportunity to manage and improve their already established protocols, standards and techniques, keep up to date with software upgrades but also have a hands on role with the projects from the very beginning all the way to delivery, creating 3D models, providing the detailed drawing packages using Revit in such a way that Timber Frame ``Panels` can be manufactured in their own factory, ready to be transported to site and finally erected giving you an excellent exposure to the entire process. If you have had previous experience of manufacturing it would be an excellent advantage but training is available for the right candidate.
