Medium sized, growing studio of an award winning international practice is looking for a BIM Coordinator
Your new company
This studio of over a dozen has recently been awarded several new commissions in the PRS, Student Resi, HE, Commercial and Retail sectors, and are now recruiting for several members of staff. They are well established in Manchester and have developed a reputation for quality of design, and the care they take to ensure timely and efficient delivery of their projects.
Your new role
This role is fluid and very much dependent on the project needs at any given time, as well as the particular skills, abilities and aspirations of the successful person. Overall there is a need for technical Revit support; producing details, coordinating models, creating families, and the implementation of Revit as a supporting software for the BIM strategy; there will also be BIM support for the BEP, interdisciplinary data sharing and coordination, and general BIM process. This is very much a supporting role rather than management of the entire strategy, and there will be support from the organisation as a whole.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be an expert at the implementation of Revit software into BIM level 2 projects, and have a familiarity with BEPs and extensive data sharing between disciplines. Due to the flexibility of the role, you will need to be an autonomous worker, with enough experience to determine your own career path. Excellent team working and communication skills are essential, and job running experience would be a massive bonus.
What you'll get in return
This is a unique position of self-determination and a chance to really develop and grow your career in a supporting creative environment. With new and exciting projects getting given the go-ahead, there is job security ahead for many years to come, as well as a competitive salary and other benefits on offer.
