Leading international contractor with advanced BIM capabilities is looking for a Senior Digital Engineer

Your new role
You will be responsible for the BIM implementation of your projects on site during its post planning phases; as such site visits are regular during the week. This entails managing those who are using Navisworks, Revit and Solibri for clash detection, training of site staff, model navigation and design implementation, as well as spotting and resolving potential construction issues within the model. You'll be coordinating several aspects of cost management, multi-disciplinary model engagement, health and safety aspects and liaison & training of on site staff.

This is a highly managerial and strategic position - you will be the company's representative to the client and other consultants, leading your team through project phases, and negotiating/managing other disciplines too. You will also be an influential member of the Digital Engineering team, affecting processes, inputs and change with your opinions and thoughts, you can also be involved in the research and development of new ideas to affect change too.

What you'll need to succeed
For this role you will need to have a Contractor background, and have an outstanding knowledge of on-site BIM implementation. You will have to have demonstrable experiences in conflict resolution, addressing challenges, solving problems and negotiations, as well as having practical construction experience. You'll also need to be outgoing, confident in your abilities, be a proven leader and experienced manager of staff and projects.
