AutoCAD Technician (Architectural)

Ian Adam-Smith Architects is a prestigious architects practice servicing private clients within the high-end residential sector, predominantly in the South Downs National Park and northwards towards London. We offer our clients a range of services including architecture and interior design with a personalised service to all our clients.

An AutoCAD LT Technician (Architectural) with fast and precise drafting skills is required to support our rapidly expanding workload. Candidates should have good knowledge of construction, be conversant with current building regulations, and want to develop strong detailing and technical construction skills.  Design skills and the ability to prepare 3D and Photoshop images would be useful but are not essential.

Skills & Experience:

  • Relevant AutoCAD LT detailing
  • Experience working in a busy design office as part of a close knit team
  • Start to end project ownership preferred
  • Good communications skills with client and consultants
  • Architectural sector essential
  • Tender and construction packages together with planning applications

This is an exciting opportunity for an Architectural AutoCAD Technician to join a highly regarded, progressive mid-sized architects practice situated on the edge of a village between Haslemere and Midhurst (40 minutes’ drive from Guildford, Portsmouth and the south coast). Your own transport is essential.
