A leading housing provider in Yorkshire are in search for an Asset Surveyor to be responsible for planning, implementation and overall project management of the Improvement Plan Programme. Duties and responsibilities for the role are listed below:

To project manage the delivery of projects within the annual improvement programme to agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards.

To mange the tendering of contracts and procurement of work via a framework. To monitor, report on and manage budgets and review these through the delivery of the programme.To review quality standards and update specifications as required as a result of these reviews.

To agree annual programmes for delivery of projects and monitor and report on progress, including holding project team meetings. To coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, surveyors, etc. engaged in various aspects of building work.

To provide a customer focus to the work being undertaken and to ensure that a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved from both contractors and the in house teams.

To accurately maintain stock information using the Keystone Asset Management database. To update the database with revised information and develop to allow accurate stock data to be used for planning improvement works.

To undertake stock condition surveys, populate Housing Management and Asset Management databases; record, appraise and follow up.

Project manage the Construction Design Management Coordinator/ Principal Designer appointed for project delivery.To support the team, by attending regular team/department meetings and to represent the department in meeting..

Provide technical advice to non-technical staff and customers in a clear and concise manner. Develop a technical expertise which you will share with colleagues.
