We are working exclusively with a multi-award winning provider of residential developments that has an immediate contract requirement with the potential of permanent for an Architectural Designer.

The successful individual will join a busy design team that is responsible for the production of site feasibility studies and detailed design drawings for planning applications, working under the tutelage of the Architectural Director and Design Manager. You will also gain the opportunity to demonstrate strong design skills and an ability to work autonomously as well as within a team.

Prospective candidates will ideally be able to demonstrate a technical competence with a basic understanding of Urban Design principles, in accordance to their experience garnered within the industry, and have the necessary skills to ultimately advance projects from the design process through to planning consent.

You will be provided with immediate exposure to a broad range of interesting residential projects from medium to large scale.

Essentials: AutoCAD proficiency, along with competent PC skills in general.

Desirables: Experience working with or for developers & proficiency in Autodesk Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Photoshop & InDesign advantageous.

Candidates that can demonstrate previous experience preparing working drawing packages on (multiple unit) residential projects whilst meeting Building Regulation and NHBC standards will be shown a preference and invited in for interview immediately.
