An up-and-coming Architectural Practice has a new opening for an ambitious, hungry and driven RIBA chartered Architect to join their team and work directly alongside the Director in winning new business, developing clients and be fully involved across their entire portfolio throughout all stages.
New to the Sheffield scene, my client is an up-and-coming Architectural practice offering a range of services including Architecture, Interior design, Urban Design and Management, BIM Co-ordination and Construction/Project Management.
They strive to bring a fresh approach to Architecture, a collaboration between the Architect and client. They believe this unity is key to good architecture, and facilitates an open dialogue that ultimately meets the needs of the brief, client and end-user. Their consultative style has already proven popular with their work gaining popularity and respect across the construction industry.
They have recently moved into new studios which reflect the relaxed team culture they have carefully moulded. A small team, all employees (irrespective of experience) are immersed fully in all RIBA stages 0-7, including contract administration, fee structure and proposals, H&S, risk assessment etc.
A gain in momentum of projects, they have an opening for an ambitious young Architect to join their team and contribute to the success of the practice first and foremost through good design.
Elements of the role are undefined, offering the right candidate the opportunity to make this role their own and take their career where they want.
More specifically, your role will be fully inclusive and you will see duties split predominantly between Business Development, working on projects through RIBA PoW and mentoring more junior members of staff.
Due to the nature of projects and size of team, the role will require someone who is ambitious, flexible and someone who enjoys being in a dynamic environment, working on a variety and diversity of schemes - no two projects are alike.
The successful candidate will have the aforementioned qualities and be recently qualified (no more than 5years RIBA). You will be a good all-rounder and enjoy seeing a project through. The Studio uses Revit, which isn't mandatory as training can and will be provided. You will be curious and inquisitive about the built environment and see the work stages as a fluid ribbon where you never stop designing, questioning and improving.
The main attraction of this role is the opportunity to make it your own. It is primed for someone who seeks responsibility and to take the next step in their career, and an excellent opportunity for growth and development.
They are a fledgling business with strong pedigree and are looking for someone who is hungry to advance their career and contribute to the success of the business.
Competitive salary with incentives for work won and brought into the practice.
