My client are a well established team of architects and technologists delivering quality architecture across the residential and education sectors. They operate as a single entity providing services from its three offices in the UK.
The company generates repeat business commissions form its existing private sector and public sector framework agreements amounting annually to approximately 80% of turner. This significant level of repeat business can only be sustained by providing services that meet and often exceed clients expectations.
Their success is due to the commitment of its team through building of strong relationships with their clients, local authorities and through the Company's involvement with the local community.
They are currently seeking a Part 1 Architectural Assistant to join their busy office in East Sussex. You should be enthusiastic, inventive, energetic and have excellent design and visualization skills.
Working in a small but ambitious team you will be involved in a variety of exciting projects. The role will primarily involve the preparation of feasibility schemes and assisting with planning drawings but there will also be opportunities to assist with the construction stages of a project and attend client meetings/ visit site.
The successful candidate will be expected to be:
- proficient in Revit, AutoCAD and Sketch Up with good presentation skills
- motivated and proactive with good organisational and communication skills
- ability to work efficiently as part of a team or independently
- Photoshop skills an advantage
- UK experience required
