Town Planner/ Local Developer Framework Assessor
Your new company
Your new company is one of the largest energy providers in the UK and they require a Town Planner to join their Warrington office to be the focal point of any interaction between different local authorities and to co-ordinate requests and responses to planning consultants. You will be engaging with all relevant stakeholders, both internal and external to ensure successful working relationships are created and maintained, resulting in the consistent delivery of an efficient, customer focused service.
Your new role
You will be submitting planning applications and be reviewing relevant changes to the national planning policy in conjunction with the planning manager. You will also be assisting in the preparation of submissions to examinations and supporting the planning manager with the delivery of planning related activity & projects.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have a degree in town planning and ideally be a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, or working towards this membership. You must have an excellent knowledge of planning legislation and processes and be fully up to speed with regulatory obligations in relation to wastewater services.
