Senior Architectural Technician
An established, award winning architectural firm, who have built a strong reputation outside London, have recently opened an office in the centre of the Capital. Currently seeking 3 new team members to add to the existing 12 for this exciting new venture, the firm offers a culture of personal and professional development and progression to any who join them.
Founded in Hampshire, the company is now looking toward an exciting new venture in London. With a number of industry awards including their most recent Architect of the Year Award, the firm describe themselves as a creative and pragmatic studio with a broad portfolio of small and large scale residential, education, office, cultural and masterplanning schemes.
Roles & Responsibilities
The role is offered on a full-time contract basis and is expected to run for 3 months. Reporting to the Project Director, you will be working on a 20 storey residential tower block with a 4 storey commercial wing under minimal supervision.
Currently at construction phase, you would be required to produce detailing, production information packages and use your site knowledge to manage and coordinate information and liaise with contractors and consultants. You will also be expected to attend regular meetings with the client, and coordinate the internal design team.
Required Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience working in a similar role
- Demonstrable experience in the latter RIBA stages with on-site, design and build and production information knowledge/experience
- Mid to large scale residential project experience is essential
- Proficient in Vectorworks
- Experience in unitised cladding would be highly beneficial
Candidates should be able to work well under pressure, demonstrate their ability to meet deadlines efficiently and be confident in making decisions independently.
Salary & Package
The successful candidate will be offered a rate between £28-£33 per hour.
Working hours are 9am – 6pm Monday to Friday.
