Your new role
You will be required to work as a Design Coordinator on large scale commercial construction project in Birmingham. In your new role you will manage the RFI process, manage Construction Information required schedule. You will assist in compilation of Health and Safety File/Building Manual, manage subcontractors design progress/ programme. Furthermore you will manage sample submission process, liaise with Building Control/Planners in conjunction with Consultants and advise on construction build ability. As well as advising the Commercial Team of design variation implications.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have previous experience in a similar design coordination role where you will have gained a working knowledge of UK Building Regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience of construction of hotels, conference centres or office buildings and the construction of multi storey, reinforced concrete and steel structures.
What you'll get in return
The successful candidate will be offered a salary between £45,000-£55,000, our client will also consider candidates on an interim basis.
