My client is one of the most successful hotel owner-operators in London. With an impressive portfolio of property, worth over £1bn, they are seeking an experienced Design Manager with an Interior Design or Interior Architecture background
Based out of their high-end London offices, you will be responsible for the delivery of some of London's most desirable hotels and residential projects.

The design manager is required to design schemes for multiple projects to be furnished with core furniture plus additional elements such as artwork and soft furnishings.
The design manager will be responsible for managing their own projects from concept to installation, including arrangements of dressing model rooms and communal spaces. This involves taking a client brief from the brand director, hotel teams and other departments within GLH and translating this into a deliverable, costed and attractive design scheme that is presentable to senior management.
This requires an all-rounded designer who is creative on the concept side with hand sketches, visuals/renders, mood-boards, producing detailed drawing packages, elevations, layouts/floor-plans and have good on-site experience coordinating contractors, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Design skills are essential and you will be hands on with good 2D and 3D CAD skills. InDesign and Photoshop skills are essential to produce presentations and CGI's for clients.
You will need excellent conceptualisation skills along with FF&E skills. You must be commercially aware, with the ability to work within budgets and to tight deadlines.
You will also be confident in spatial planning and residential internal configurations and have knowledge of the real estate, hotel and residential industry.
