Architectural Technician needed Hereford

I am currently looking to recruit for very popular house builder based in Hereford They are looking for an Architectural Technician or Technical Manager to join their friendly team based in a Great Location. They are looking to expand this office due to the growth of the business.


Purpose of the role:
The main purpose of the role is to ensure timely delivery of complete, high quality and cost effective
designs and approvals (except engineering) for new build housing activity.
To understand, implement and adhere to SHEQ policy and strategy.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the house type portfolio, working closely with the Group Design Department;
- Procure / produce architectural detailing where non-standard;
- Procure Building Regulation approvals;
- Ensure all customers are working with correct information;
- Procure landscaping related surveys, designs and management plans;
- Deal with site queries;
- Procure / produce information to assist the legal/sales team (deed plans etc)
- Assist the sales team in producing sales & marketing material;
- Manage payments & budgets;
- Ensure the quality of architectural information provided both internally and externally is of the highest standards.

What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Excellent architectural knowledge, particularly house types..
- Excellent verbal and written communications at all levels.
- Proven track record of delivering Building Control approvals.
- Experience of Managing consultants.
- Demonstrates eye for detail and commitment to delivering excellent standards.
- Excellent organisational skills.
Effectively manage time and prioritise in order to meet deadlines.
- Professional attitude and approach to work.
- Ability to competently operate MS Office (Word & Excel).
- Must be self motivated, resilient an Tenacious.
