This technical role will suit somebody who is hands on and likes and active role. You will have control over your diary to organise your day with various requirements on site. You will be carrying out general maintenance or reactive maintenance, engaging with customers and sub-contractors.

Client Details

My client is a leading Residential Developer in and around the South East of England. This role in particular will be remotely based around the Bromley, Leatherhead and South East London areas. You will be working on a variety of sites across these areas and will be travelling to and from site in the van provided. You should have all the tools required to complete the jobs on the day but should any further equipment be needed you may be responsible for acquiring these materials.


Customer Service Operative - New Van, tools, phone and Laptop

This role will involve organising your diary based on specific requirements sent through from Head Office. Customer will contact the Coordinators with a query and you will be responsible for meeting with customers to diagnose any issues or solve any small problems with their New Build property.

You will be required to compile reports on any work carried out, making sure these reports are accurately filed or sent through to the Head Office promptly.

4 Days of the week you will be on various sites carrying out reactive maintenance.

1 Day of the week you might be required to carry out home demonstrations and/or visit customers to assess work carried out or solve any problems they might have.

Candidates applying to this role should have the following experience and/or skills:

  • Painting and decorating
  • Basic carpentry
  • Basic understanding of plumbing or electrics (will be required when diagnosing issues)
  • Good levels of communication and ability to explain construction processes
  • Good people skills - customer interaction will be high
  • Professional approach to clients and customers and colleagues
