The aim of this practice is to build a team of project co-ordinators to rigorously manage all project-based support tasks across the groups, to free up the technical staff to concentrate on their work. The project co-ordinators will sit with their groups and be a critical link on all sizeable projects, ensuring the office manual is followed, and standards are maintained. The ideal person for this position, will have sufficient knowledge and experience of project management, be able to coordinate and maintain project systems and protocols, be accurate and enthusiastic, be able to undertake a diverse range of tasks involving different people and different activities, and have an interest in building, engineering, architecture, and the arts. Key tasks will consist of coordinating drawings using file management systems such as 4Projects, Aconex, Onehub, ASite, and Dropbox, policing the project folders, carrying out research on buildings, attending external meetings and workshops, assisting partners and associates in the preparation of project fee schedules, and suggesting changes to the office systems to make them more efficient and robust.
