About this role


An Award winning architect practice, known for their work across education, residential, mixed use and public realm is looking to hire a Receptionist with proven ability to adapt.

Key responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls using professional manner and relaying messages.
  • Maintaining two meeting room calendars
  • Provide support to all staff, obtaining samples and technical information
  • Typing assistance through the day
  • Provide support to all staff, obtaining samples and technical information
  • Catalogue and maintain the library of books and magazines.
  • Keeping typed office records up to date regularly
  • Update and maintain all staff contact details
  • Maintain client/ consultant list and project lists
  • Maintain and update project in numbers and staff CV’s
  • Setup for meet and greet
  • Organise refreshments, lunches and breakfasts for staff
  • Purchase, receive and store the office supplies
  • Coordinate outgoing mail, banking and post office duties
  • Arrange taxis and outgoing couriers
  • Tidy/organise office areas including kitchen and meeting rooms

Skills and Experience

  • Highly IT literate, touch typing preferred
  • Prior Knowledge of InDesign and an eye for graphic presentations would be an advantage
  • Pro-active, responsive, punctual, approachable
  • Initiative, able to prioritise and work under pressure and with little supervision
  • Problem solving ability
  • Integrity and reliability
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Able to adapt to variations in workflow
  • Positive attitude
