One of London's leading and most exclusive commercial design practices are looking for a Senior Workplace Interior Designer to join their specialist team.

This position requires the ability to liaise with all levels of staff from Principals to Project Managers as well as clients and their representatives

Key day-to-day tasks of the Senior Workplace Interior Designer include:

  • Lead and manage medium to large projects in multiple service lines offerings
  • Generate and qualify project opportunities, developing sales strategies, and making sales calls and presentations
  • Preparing letter proposals, full proposal documents and presentations, work plans and closing sales
  • Contracting sales revenue of at least £200,000 per year
  • Share examples of new deliverables and innovative delivery processes to both the local office and the global consulting team through a range of mediums
  • Organise and coordinate project teams with members from multiple disciplines and offices
  • Manage and monitor all aspects of team's performance and take appropriate and timely remedial action when required
  • Undertake multiple project assignments
  • Achieve project profitability
  • Maintain client communications and quality assurance
  • Write client reports and deliverable text clearly and comprehensibly
  • Distil complex information to the essential detail for client decision-making
  • Draw conclusions and record them concisely
  • Perform workplace analysis and change management tasks
  • Proactively engage staff and provide opportunities for development
  • May conduct LDL programs
  • Make presentations to large client groups and regional conferences


Key attributes of the Senior Workplace Interior Designer include:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in architecture, real estate, interior or planning
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in workplace, consulting or other appropriate roles. Skills & Competencies Knowledge and ability to use analytical and problem-solving techniques
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access and Graphics
  • Proficiency in Autodesk products (AutoCAD and Revit) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Strong analysis and spreadsheet capabilities are essential components
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Ability to complete tasks and produce deliverables independently
  • Ability to manage and motivate team
