Experienced Architectural Technician required to join a well established practice based just outside of Birmingham city centre. The Birmingham studio is the head office of the company, with two other locations based throughout the UK. The practice are now seeking an additional Architectural Technician to join their award winning team.
The practice operate within a multitude of sectors, having worked on projects of varying size and value in sectors such as; Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Retail and Community Buildings, with current projects in development throughout the UK.
As an Architectural Technician within this practice, you will be tasked with providing technical support to the Senior Architectural Technicians/Architects throughout the office. You will be provided with ongoing training and support, enabling you to progress through the practice in to more senior positions.
Core duties and responsibilities of the Senior Architectural Technologist for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
·Production of high quality construction drawings and detailing.
·Liaise with clients and external consultants.
·Delivery of the planning, Building Regs, detailing and specification stages of projects.
·Attending site meetings
Skills and qualifications required for this role include the following:
·Qualified to degree level, ideally in Architectural Technology.
·Experience of delivering Residential and Commercial projects.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·In-depth knowledge of UK Building Regulations and specifications.
·Software requirements - AutoCAD (essential) & Revit (desirable).
