We are working with a highly accomplished developer who's on the lookout for a Technical Coordinator to join them in their Chelmsford office. The successful candidate will be someone who will be confident managing the existing technical team, spearheading a series of prestigious residential projects & ensuring successful delivery. Well known within the industry for nurturing & progressing their staff, they strongly encourage a vibrant working environment and have an extensive portfolio of successfully delivered projects to the highest of standards.
The successful candidate will have a background in either Architecture or Project Management as an essential pre-requisite and must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the technical details of residential construction. You will have had exposure to development projects of varying sizes (ideally 50-2,000+ units) in the past and experience of coordinating external consultants. A strong technical understanding and awareness of current UK Building Regulations and NHBC requirements as well as possessing previous exposure to a range of large budget residential commissions is highly desirable.
·A proven background working on the technical detailing side of residential construction projects which have been varied in size, ideally for a developer/ house builder,
·Strong communication & presentation skills in order to maintain existing client relationships,
·Proficiency and exposure using AutoCAD in order to produce accurate and detailed drawings in line with construction requirements,
·Being highly organised, driven & self-motivated in order to successfully coordinate projects to strict deadlines & budgets.
