Your new company
Your employer are a modern, vibrant and growing medium sized Architecture team, based just outside the centre of Chichester. Having been established for just over 6 years they pride themselves on producing high end, bespoke and sustainable design projects often in the high end residential sector, but also covering education and more complex listed building projects to help really diversify your work, ranging in value from £150k right up to £5million +. Clients come from all across Sussex and they are an RIBA chartered practice that maintains exceptionally high standards throughout every aspect of their service.
Your new role
You will gain the opportunity to work on high end residential projects in particular, liaising with clients seeing projects through inception to completion. Candidates with all experience levels will be considered to work through all RIBA stages and help deliver exceptional solutions to the diverse client base currently looked after. In addition to your normal project running responsibilities, you will support the rest of the junior candidates in the team and be a source of support and learning to all those around you that work in this highly collaborative team. Clients come from a range of backgrounds, but being able to offer them a highly personal and trusted one on one service will be of critical importance.
What you'll need to succeed
A positive and outgoing personality are a must with clearly demonstrable design skills. You should have fluency in AutoCAD, Sketch up, InDesign and 3D modelling experience (especially Revit) would be a huge plus. You should be able to illustrate and present your work in a professional way and collaborate in all your approaches with a demonstrable ability of experience in a similar role. You should be comfortable at managing your own time acting with responsibility and efficiency. Above all you should be passionate, driven and have a hunger to develop, learn and pass on your existing experience to the rest of the Architectural team around you. As a result of a very specific set of clients, you should also be able to demonstrate an agile communication style, to offer clients you work with a trusted and supportive Architect, that will both inspire and engage them during the entire project cycle.
