Newly Qualified Architect
Job / Vacancy / Architect / Glasgow / Scotland
An opportunity has presented itself for a Newly Qualified Architect who has the ambition to progress to Project and Senior Architect in very honourable timing.
A very refreshing role to see on the market, and perhaps quite timely for some. This client has a tremendous reputation form bringing on young Architects and giving them experience that many Architects at this level can only dream off.
This is a role for an Architect who truly enjoys getting involved in all stages of the project. From the design elements of sketching, to coming up with design solutions, presentation drawings, rendering and working on sketchUp etc. To the more technical aspects of construction drawings, details and site visits. A lot of the work initially will be at the early stages due to the fact the project has only recently been brought into the office. But generally the work you will get involved in will be on very interesting and technical buildings for public sector clients. Something this practice has won many awards for.
To be considered for this position you must possess:
- ARB Registered
- Have the ability to carry out the full range of professional services of a qualified Architect
- Have the ability to design / sketch / render / present. Be comfortable acting as project Architect on your own project. Have the desire to be involved in all stages of the RIBA plan of works.
This opportunity provides you with a modern office environment in Glasgow, with good links to public transport, in addition to the opportunity to work on some very interested building that will no doubt improve you as an Architect.
