Project Officer, Housing Development, 6-12 month contract, Immediate Start, £20+ per hour DOE

Your new company
A rapidly expanding organisation are adding another 2500 homes to their estate over the next five years and are looking to add to their Development Team during this exciting time. They currently have an estate of over 6500 properties in various areas and this job is a key strategic focus for the organisation to ensure they meet their growth development goal.

Your new role
You'll co-ordinate the funding and delivery of individual construction projects to meet the Development Department's briefs and objectives, ensuring that appropriate program, quality and cost targets are met. You'll undertake feasibility studies and option appraisals, project manage identified projects, manage and direct external contractors, liaise and sustain great relationships with key stakeholders and monitor progress against agreed aims and objectives.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll have a proven track record managing projects from feasibility from concept to completion. This will ideally be in a housing development sector and also public sector procurement experience will be essential. You'll either come from a Surveying or Architectural background and be a good communicator. You'll have the ability to problem solve and work with developers and stakeholders throughout. You'll live within commutable distance of Dundee and if not, willing to stay overnight during the term of this assignment.

What you'll get in return
You'll be given a long term contract for a minimum of 6 months but more likely to be 12. You'll also be given a competitive hourly rate DOE considering the length of the contract. You'll report directly to the Senior Development Officer within the department and be given a chance to work with some autonomy. If you are a Ltd Company Contractor, IR35 legislation will not apply so we can pay gross into your business account.
