Architect - Banbury
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified Architect to join an award-winning, RIBA chartered Architectural practice based near Banbury. This practice have developed as an innovative diverse team with specialist expertise in a range of sectors including conservation, school buildings, residential properties and public community buildings.
The successful candidate will be working on an ever-expanding collection of heritage, conservation and new build projects covering various sectors including residential, commercial education & cultural.
Prospective individuals must demonstrate previous exposure to UK based projects at all RIBA stages.
The successful applicant will be closely involved in the design of projects, helping to develop ideas from conception through to detailed resolution of form and material, and should be prepared from day one to develop new skills and to challenge existing knowledge.
*A minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience
*Possess excellent design and detailing skills
*Proficiency in VectorWorks, SketchUp or VRay (if not fully proficient with VectorWorks, training will be provided, but some knowledge will be essential)
*Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
*Excellent organisation skills with a strong ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads accordingly
*Enthusiasm for developing work skills and job specific knowledge for self and team.
