Conservation Architect - Ipswich
Conrad Consulting are currently working with an award-winning RIBA chartered practice based in Ipswich who are currently seeking an experienced Conservation Accredited Architect to join them on a full-time permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an architect accredited in building conservation, looking to develop their career by working within the practice.
The successful candidate will be working an ever-expanding collection of conservation projects covering various sectors including residential, commercial & in particular, ecclesiastical. Prospective individuals must demonstrate previous exposure to UK based conservation commissions at all RIBA stages.
The successful applicant will be closely involved in the design of projects, helping to develop ideas from conception through to detailed resolution of form and material, and should be prepared from day one to develop new skills and to challenge existing knowledge. The practice operates with AutoCAD and requires full proficiency with this platform.
·Conservation accredited with the RIBA/AABC or RICS
·Must be proficient in AutoCAD
·Have good working knowledge of current UK building construction and regulations
·Good presentation skills and attention to detail
·Excellent literacy and report writing skills.
