Part 2 Architectural Assistant required to join a National, AJ100 Architectural practice based in Manchester city centre. This company have offices based throughout the UK and are able to offer exposure to projects of varying sizes both locally and on a national/international scale. This thriving firm of Architects are now looking to bolster their Manchester team with the addition of a talented and ambitious Part 2 Architectural Assistant.

An opportunity for an ambitious Part 2 Architectural Assistant has now arisen to join this revered architectural team. As a Part 2 Architectural Assistant within this office, you will be presented with the opportunity to work on notable projects, both within Manchester and throughout the UK. The company as a whole operate in a broad variety of sectors, however the current project pipeline in Manchester is within the Residential sector. Typically this will include Large-scale Residential masterplans, Assisted living, Private housing and Urban regeneration. In due course the role will offer greater variety and exposure to a wider range of project types.

The practice has an esteemed track record of supporting their Part 2 Architectural Assistant's through Part 3 qualification on route to becoming qualified Architects. The successful applicant will be provided with the work necessary to complete your log book while working towards theirPart 3.

Key responsibilities of the Part 2 Architectural Assistant will include the following:

·Produce high quality outputs at across all RIBA design stages.
·Concept design production from briefing information
·Development of masterplan & building plans and elevational & sectional models using REVIT & AutoCAD.
·Attending site and client meetings when required.
·Responding to client and design team queries.
·Post production work using Photoshop.

Skills & qualifications required for this role are as follows:

·Hold a BArch/Post Grad Diploma (or equivalent to RIBA Part 2 qualification)
·Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD & REVIT, alongside Photoshop, Indesign and the Adobe creative suite
·Be well organised, able to work autonomously and as part of a team, and be enthusiastic towards your work

In return, you will be offered a competitive salary likely to be in the region of £23,000-£28,000 per annum (dependant on experience), alongside a generous benefits package.
