Do you look at architecture & design wherever you go and think “could that be better?!”
WHO ARE WE
Artichoke is a very busy small practice with an excellent local reputation, which means we often have to turn away work and can be selective. The majority of our work is private residential, but more recently we’ve won several commercial projects.
We have a friendly, diverse, enthusiastic and hardworking studio environment but we appreciate that there’s life and family outside of work too so offer the opportunity to work flexibly and potentially part time.
We are very excited about design, architecture and about how our skills coupled with the rigorous understanding of what our clients ‘really’ need can create unique and inspirational environments.
Our approach is to exhaust every option to ensure we find the best one for our clients; we do this with old fashioned detail paper and a pen.
Our aim is for Artichoke to continue to grow and to keep generating opportunities to win the interesting contemporary schemes that make architecture fun and challenging whilst maintaining smiles on our faces and a passion for what we do and how we do.
WHO ARE YOU
If you’ve got one or more years of post-part 3 experience (or CIAT / Technician equivalent) and want to have responsibility for your own projects, this could be a great opportunity for you.
Typically, everyone does everything, so you’ll want to be involved in taking projects from initial clients visits and surveys through completion on site.
If you join us you would be a key member of the studio assisting on or running projects, managing yourself and potentially others.
Artichoke is still young, so you, your ideas and enthusiasm will be able to help shape the practice and ultimately help to run it.
We want you to challenge yourself and us!
Have a look at our website to see what you think of us and what we do and if you’re interested, please get in touch with a CV and samples of your work.
As we usually have a high volume of enquiries, we apologise that we will only respond to those, whose experience and ability is appropriate for this position
