Lead Design Manager. Luxury Fashion
Is physical retail suffering at the moment? Yes it definitely is… but not at this place.
The company has seen really healthy year on year sales increases for the last two years on the trot. Sales have been up around 18% each year. How did they do that I hear you cry!? Put simply, they are ahead of the game in terms of experiential shopping and they create some of the finest shopping environments in the world that sell things people want in a way that the respond to.
The company has an in-house property and design team. At the moment, there's a need for an experienced retail designer to take a lead on a number of major projects. The main input will be the design of the interior masterplans. You'd work closely with the Visual Merchandising, Buyer and marketing teams to get the front-end design of the masterplans absolutely right. These designs will then go to the internal team and sometimes external designers who will finely tune everything to ensure that the shopping environments sing.
The role is a senior one and you'd report in to the Director of Design. The rewards are commensurate with this and you could achieve a salary of £70K to £80K plus a bonus which has been paying out around 15 percent. The bonus is of course discretionary. There's also a fantastic benefits package which is far superior to most other retail groups and design agencies.
We'd love to hear from interior designers or interior architects who have a substantial track record of the design and management of fashion retail projects.
Join the retail revolution; this is where it is happening.
