Experienced Architect required to join one of the UK's leading multi-disciplinary practices, based in Stratford-upon-Avon.

The Stratford-Upon-Avon office have a large architectural team that focuses on a multitude of sectors, from small to medium scale Commercial and Education projects, through to multi-million pound Pharmaceutical and Industrial projects. The Architect for this role will be joining the Transportation/Infrastucture team within the office, so prior experience of working on large scale Rail projects would be highly beneficial.

The position will provide you with exposure to all RIBA stages within a number of different project sizes and values, and will involve you running and leading small to medium scale projects from conception through to completion. Building Information Modelling (BIM) is prevalent throughout the company, so relevant experience of utilising BIM systems and software is essential in order to be successful in this position.

You will have the opportunity to progress through the practice to senior levels, including Associate Architect and beyond. This would be the ideal position for an Architect with the ambition to work on large scale projects, and to take the next step in their career.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities for the role include the following:

·Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate the technical and management aspects on assigned projects
·Be fully conversant with the basics of British Standards and Eurocodes with respect to Architectural design, sustainability and specification.
·Review and approve technical design phases of projects. Ensure thorough checking and accuracy of deliverables and record documentation in accordance with company QA procedures
·Create designs and highly detailed drawings and design solutions both by hand and by using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications
·Liaise with the customer, project end-users and other construction professionals about the feasibility of a proposed project, including any constraining factors such as planning legislation, environmental impact and project budget
·Work closely with other members of the design team to deliver safe, efficient and buildable solutions.
·Take responsibility for project and multi-disciplined design team management as lead architect. Excellent team ethic, and ability to work extended hours on occasions when required
·Attend in-house design courses and seminars and feedback to the rest of the department if required.
·Keep up to date with design trends/competitor awareness /design techniques

Required qualifications and training for this role as follows:

·Architect with UK recognised qualifications at Part 1, 2 & 3 level.
·ARB registration & RIBA chartered membership.
·Full UK driving license.
·CSCS card (ideally).
·Eligible to pass criteria for security clearance.

In return, you will be offered a competitive salary in the region of £42,000-£50,000 per annum, alongside an attractive benefits package.
