BIM Coordinator

I am working closely with an internationally renowned architectural practice in Manchester on their requirement for a BIM Coordinator to join their award-winning team.

The practice has a wide portfolio of project sectors that primary focus upon the commercial, healthcare, office, airport terminals, education and industrial sectors.

With the practice involved in a large volume of diverse and exciting projects, I am looking to speak with a well-rounded individual that is adaptable with good experience and knowledge in a selection of project typologies.

Responsibilities of the BIM Coordinator will span from initial project setup, maintaining project BIM models and associated project BIM support documents, performing BIM coordination exercises and training project team members.

The successful candidate will provide coordination services to a number of project teams throughout the office as well as assisting the BIM Manager with other BIM related tasks including:

· Creating and maintaining project specific BIM Execution Plans

· Creating a Federated Navisworks Model and generating Clash Reports

· Assist in creating Revit content on demand

· Assist in modelling of complex interfaces and elements

Working knowledge and strong proficiency in Revit is essential, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This role is a long-term contract with a view to going permanent if this is something you are interested on.
