Design Director - Commercial / Residential

This practice of thirty architects has established its presence over eighteen years, focusing on projects up the value of 50 million, predominantly in London-based commercial and residential.

The practice developed a network of cash-rich clients developing a niche for themselves with the ability to design quickly whilst retaining a commercial acumen. They are gaining increasing interest from tier 1 clients for their relaxed and laid-back approach to design and ability to create beautiful buildings without the 'star architect' fee.

This role could suit an associate or associate director looking to make the step into a directorial role. You will be responsible for leading design across the whole studio; you will be adding huge amount of value implementing new process and inspiring a better level of design in order to raise their profile.

The role will requires you to network and be responsible for bringing in new clients with the support of two existing directors. The firm are aware of where they are and see huge benefits of bringing in a director who has a passion for good design and raising the design profile of an already successful office.

Only exceptional portfolios will be considered. Candidates who have a track record of winning work, leading competitions and the ability to bring big ideas will thrive in this practice.
