Senior Architect or Associate. Residential, Mixed Use & Hotels

Off the back of a number of significant project wins, this established UK practice is seeking to make 4 new hires. One of these hires is the Senior Architect or Associate.

The London team enjoy a buzzing studio environment and all of the latest drawing technology. There are about 45 people in London. In total, the practice employs around 150 people.

The busiest sectors for them are the hotel, residential and mixed-use developments. Recent project wins include £120M residential led scheme in Croydon; a £140M mixed use scheme in East London and an £80M residential project in South London. There are also lots of hotel projects running.

The Directors are looking for a senior level architect who could oversee a couple of significant projects concurrently. They'd be managing a team of up to 10 people and reporting to the Directors. The salary banding is i£50K- £60K plus benefits.

For the Senior Architect/ Associate role, we are looking for good team leadership skills and an ability to run major projects concurrently. Software skills are less important because training can be provided on Revit and other software where necessary. A decent track record of UK project is important so that candidates have a clear understanding of local planning policies and building regulations.

There is a clear path to becoming a Director.
