Architectural Technologist
Role Description
Mackenzie Wheeler are looking for an architectural technologist to join its young(ish) team of 11 in Shoreditch. The practice specialises in architecture and interior design with most of our work placed in the hospitality sector. We also have a notable amount of education and private residential work and our projects often encompass refurbishment work and work on listed buildings.
The successful applicant should:
- Have a CIAT qualification or equivalent
- Be fluent in spoken and written English
- Be fluent in AutoCAD and all general Word Processing software
- Have good knowledge of the UK building regulations
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Have an interest in and experience of working in the education, hospitality and commercial sectors
- Have experience with Planning Application processes and procedures
- Have experience of working with listed buildings
- Have experience of working on new build projects
- Have an interest in Interior Design
- Be willing to undertake duties to support Project Architects
- It would be an advantage to have a full, clean, UK driving license
Other info
Mackenzie Wheeler operates standard office hours at 37.5 hours per week.
Holiday entitlement is 20 days with bank holidays and Christmas on top.
