You'll also be involved in managing the work that gets outsourced to Architects, you'll need to double check their work and coordinate with all other external and internal consultants. 

They use AutoCAD day to day. Ideally, they want you to have been heavily involved in Residential in the past, perhaps you're coming from a house builder or another developer or practice that work in the sector a lot.
