My client is looking for a Landscape Industry Product Specialist to be an integral part of our Customer Success team. You will establish personal rapport with potential and actual customers as well as other industry influencers. The team member occupying this position will identify opportunities as well as provide consultation, industry expertise, for customers, prospects, partners and our internal teams. You will liaise regularly with members of our sales team, R&D department, the marketing and communication team, as well as senior company managers.

Your new role
In this role, you should expect to:
* Quickly grasp and apply all of the design disciplines for the companies product line.
* Provide project support for training initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, eLearning, technical writing, video tutorials, product testing, analysing data and writing training summaries all within established timelines.
* Maintain subject matter expertise for all business areas, including keeping track of technologies and training trends.
* Maintain an advanced understanding of the companies products and competitive products.
* Discover and act upon speaking, sponsorship, and networking opportunities with industry organisations, trade shows, and academic institutions.
* Create and deliver marketing presentations and product demonstrations for users and prospects at various user group meetings, trade shows, and other events.
* Cultivate and provide customised online and one-on-one training and detailed product demonstrations for prospects.
* Work closely with the sales and technical support teams to understand the customer's needs, desires, and complaints.
* Provide technical support to customers and prospects.
* Contribute to internal staff and channel education about the landscape industry.

What you'll need to succeed

* High proficiency in CAD and/or GIS software.
* Strong presentation skills and principles for learning and instructional design.
* Impeccable English language skills, both written and spoken.
* Ability to show initiative, multi-task, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
* A positive attitude and willingness to work with the team to achieve departmental goals.
* Strong organisational skills for thorough planning and project execution.
* A Bachelor's degree within an accredited Landscape Architecture or City/Regional/Urban Planning program is desirable.
* Three or more years related work experience in a landscape based role.
