We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Architect to join a design-led and forward thinking Studio in Oxford who would like to gain some experience to assist in the design and development of projects in Lapland, Croatia and Thailand.
This role will be a pivotal position within a newly established team who will be responsible for executing all design and technical responsibilities for the full scope of a project.
Projects are mainly leisure and cover high-end hotel new builds, refurbishments, extension and conversion as well as large-scale leisure developments and master-planning
As an experienced Architect you will be RIBA Part III Qualified and adept at managing the whole project lifecycle. This would be a challenging and extremely varied position which covers planning, architecture, project management, budgeting, sourcing contractors, procurement and delivery as well as proficient CAD production and technical understanding
You will have a demonstrable background handling all aspects of project running. This includes client liaison and management, contract administration, handling Planning and Local Authority liaison, tender processes, building control and site supervision. Frequent overseas trips will be necessary.
The work is very ‘hands on’ and will require a degree of time management and assisting on executing projects. This would provide a great opportunity to broaden ones experience.

YOU MUST BE:
Min 5 years post Part III experience Able to take leadership role within a project team Able to provide creative and well thought through design solutions Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketch-up Previous hotel and leisure experience preferred Flexible and willing to travel
