Hays Specialist Recruitment is working exclusively with this client in a their bid to bring in an Associate / Director level Architect with strong business development skills.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is perhaps bringing work into their current firm, and perhaps not getting the correct financial rewards for doing so.
Ideally this work would be conservation, historical or rural residential work - to best suit the current portfolio of the practice.
However, the client is looking to broaden their work in the private sector and will be interviewing a range of candidates who offer insight into different sectors.
First and foremost, you will need to have a positive approach and be a person who enjoys the challenge and prospect of a leading role within the Glasgow Architectural market.
You will be confident in managing the client relationship; managing and coordinating the design team's information; leading and managing the production team; managing information output to programme and to quality standards; managing the administration of the project, including contract admin, programme and reporting; deliver through to site stage, and respective duties such as site inspection.
As a key part of this growing business you will be responsible for inspiring and mentoring internal teams, pitching and presenting to clients, developing design and provide technical leadership. Commercial management, new business strategies and proven strong relationships with key clients are also critical.
