We are currently looking for a Landscape Architect to assist on a large array of projects in the infrastructure, energy, renewables, property, waste and mining sectors. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA).

The successful candidate will join one of the world's leading environmental and engineering consultancies and be part of an expanding, dynamic and successful multidisciplinary environmental planning team.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  • Participation in the production of landscape outputs for a variety of projects in multiple sectors, including renewables, energy transmission and property in the UK and overseas; under direction from the head of landscape architecture
  • Undertaking landscape design and assessments for input to Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and where appropriate manage EIA production
  • Working with the head of landscape architecture to improve the accuracy and efficiency of LVIA and EIA production;

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Relevant degree
  • Proven experience in a consultancy environment and a good track record in the industry
  • An appreciation of masterplanning, urban and sustainable design
  • Demonstrable experience in EIA and LVIA
  • Ability to work within a team and confident in representing landscape issues within a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Excellent written, graphic and verbal communication skills and sound knowledge of key software programmes including AutoCAD and Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Skills in GIS (ArcGIS), Sketchup and KeyScape would also be desirable
