Visualiser Team Leader
More often than not, visualisers don't get given a chance to prove themselves as managers. This job is one that will give you that chance whilst still allowing you to continue creating wonderful visuals.
The role would see you running a small visualising team in one of the UK's most prominent architecture practices. The work they do is stunning and they are looking for a creative individual who will run with projects right from the beginning all the way to the end.
Unlike lots of places, here the visualisers work directly with the architectural design teams right from the outset. The visuals form part of the design process rather than just being a showcase image.
The work that you will do will be focussed on the external parts of the buildings and used for early stage concepts, massing, planning, public consultations and developer briefings. Projects could be anything from a tower to a visitor centre or a station. The practice doesn't have a set architectural typology so you'll get lots of variety of scale, project type and a variety of urban and out of town settings.
You will be responsible for all external visuals for the entire practice. There is a separate team for the interiors and marketing visualisations. At first you would manage one to two visualisers. The practice is growing fairly fast at the moment so this number may increase.
We'd like to hear from expert visualisers who would like to lead a team within a highly successful and hugely creative practice. You will need to have an in-depth knowledge of 3DS Max, Adobe Suite and Corona Renderer. Forest Pack and Grow FX would also be an advantage. Good photography skills and a passion for great buildings are important. We also think that it's important that candidates have a good working understanding of architectural terminology.
