Mid-Weight/Senior Interior Designer
Design company specialising in leisure and hospitality sectors looking for a new designer to join their team!
Your new company
A design studio who are known for award-winning design and build projects in the leisure and hospitality sector. The studio you will be working in is based in London, however, they do have a few office across the country. For the past 25 years, the company have built their reputation on a belief that their work should speak for itself, providing unique experiences, beautiful aesthetics and proven returns for clients. They work on a range of hospitality and leisure projects, including F&B and university spaces.
Your new role
You will be highly creative with solid technical knowledge with the ability to turn imaginative concepts into build-able environments. You will be working closely with our in house Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers as well as the design team & out-of-house furniture department, in a fast paced, proactive design office. This is an exciting opportunity working with an award winning and established Design & Build company in the leisure and hospitality sector, which will provide a wealth of challenges for an ambitious individual. You will be client facing and will need to build relationships with our customers and suppliers.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 2 years experience in high-end hospitality and leisure projects; high level of F&B is desired. As you will be an all-rounder, with the possibility of majoring in the technical side, you will need to be highly proficient with using AutoCAD and Creative Suite and have good understanding of UK building Regulations and Planning Process. You must be confident and have the ability to advise clients on all technical aspects of design projects. You must also be able to present a working portfolio with your relevant experience and be able to explain your role in the projects.
