Conrad have collaborated with a Leeds City centre based developer who require the expertise of a BIM Coordinator to assist in the delivery of over 1000 new Homes, Offices, Restaurants and amenities in the regions city centres.

Climate change is the biggest challenge facing our generation and this developer unlike any other are committed to playing a leading role by innovating how they design and create our cities.

Having started the journey 10 years ago and in this time have picked up over 40 awards for design, sustainability, innovation and enterprise the next chapter in their business aims is to create some of the most exciting and innovative sustainable developments possible.

Required to help this goal become a reality is a suitably experience BIM Coordinator ideally from a strong Architectural background, the purpose of the post is to manage the production of timber frame, fabrication drawings, by optimising design and specifications, offering world-class technical support and expertise ensuring continuous improvement in the production and delivery of projects.


·Model management (all disciplines)
·Modelling multiple disciplines
·Drawing set ownership
·BIM Content development
·BIM Collaboration/Coordination
·Clash detection
·Maintaining model library
·Ensure construction documents accuracy based on discipline BIM model and tolerances
·Lean understanding
·Exceptional Revit skills
·Exceptional CAD skills
·Exceptional architectural, technical detail skills
·Pragmatic vision
·Can design conceptual and technical solutions to briefs
·Excellent project management skills
·Exceptional understanding of UK Building Regulations
·Understand all outputs and requirements of design for RIBA Stages 0-7
·Excellent communicator of ideas and views
·Good at managing to deadlines

Required experience and qualifications

·BSc HONS Architectural Technology plus 1+ years' experience of professional environment
·Autodesk Revit skills are essential
·AutoCad skills - for drawing linkage and clean up.
·Design review- for collaboration with professional staff
·General understanding of interoperability between software used to accomplish own discipline tasks
·Ability to uphold the use of standards and escalate issues in a timely fashion

Hours and environment

·They operate a flexible working policy for this role where it is expected that the individual meets or exceeds their objectives, but they aren't prescriptive about times or days worked as long as the results are being achieved. The 'usual' working hours are 9-5:30pm but these vary from individual to individual.
·Exciting brand new office being constructed on Leeds Dock.

Salary depending on experience circa £35,000 - £40,000 per annum + unlimited annual leave allowance + remote working and flexible hours.
