Architectural Assistant, Part II

An AJ100 practice located in Clerkenwell is looking to recruit either an experience PII architectural assistant or a recently qualified architect to work across residential schemes both in London and nationally. The practice benefits from three offices situated across the country and they have delivered high-profile projects across housing, leisure, commercial workplace, retail and industry sectors for 40 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce physical models for client meetings and planning consultations.
  • Develop, where required, representations of design options for further discussion and development by the design team.
  • Assist with client liaison and attend design team meetings with other professionals.
  • Preparation of 3D visuals, by hand and / or using relevant software, for use in planning and design documents.
  • A knowledge and interest in building materials, and ability to proactively source materials and samples.
  • Carry out sensitive site analysis, demonstrating an understanding of place, and communicate this effectively in design drawings and diagrams.

Skills and Experience

  • PII assistant / architect with relevant experience.
  • Experience working across all RIBA stages from design through to construction.
  • Proficiency in REVIT, SketchUp and Adobe Suite software packages.
  • Previous experience in residential projects or an interest in this sector.
