Architectural Technologist - Nuclear/Industrial

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technician to join a large scale multi-disciplinary practice based in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire.

The practice are looking to add an experienced Architectural Technician to their award winning architectural team, due to a significant rise in workload. The company operates within a multitude of sectors, from small to medium scale Commercial and Education schemes, through to multi-million pound Pharmaceutical and Industrial projects.

The position will provide you with exposure to all RIBA stages within a number of different project sizes and values, and will involve you running and leading small to medium scale projects from conception through to completion. You will also be supervising and mentoring junior CAD staff members in the office, so experience of running a team would be ideal for this role.

Building Information Modelling (BIM) is prevalent throughout the company, so relevant experience of utilising BIM systems and software is essential in order to be successful in this position. Experience of working on projects at BIM Level 2 would be highly beneficial for this role, with particular experience of using Revit software on large scale projects.

The following traits and characteristics of the Architectural Technician are required for this role:

·Proven track record in the delivery of architectural design
·Knowledge of CDM regulations
·Knowledge of current UK technical standards/publications and legislation requirements
·Ability to work towards tight deadlines, as part of a team and autonomously
·Excellent design and technical detailing ability and competent drafting skills in; AutoCAD, Revit, Microstation & Sketchup

A highly competitive salary will be offered to the successful applicant alongside a generous benefits package that includes a bonus scheme. Salary likely to be in the region of £32,000-£40,000.
