Conrad Consulting are recruiting on behalf of a leading studio in Central Manchester for an Associate Director level Architect within their thriving Manchester studio.

This National firm of Architects have a long history of providing innovative design solutions to a wide range of repeat clients. They operate from various locations across the UK, with each office playing a supporting role within the wider structure of the company. There is a real family-feel here.

You will be offered a structured and supportive introduction to the company including regular visits to meet your fellow Senior team members and gain a wider understanding the of the company.

Typically, projects you'll encounter will be within the Residential and Healthcare sectors including a large-scale, high-rise apartment scheme alongside a new-build, care home facility in the local area. You will be joining the company at pivotal stages in these projects.

The Associate Director will ultimately be placed in a strategic role and will be responsible for day-to-day managerial tasks and further developing a portfolio of clients across the North-West region.

This position will be best suited to a Qualified Architect currently working in a senior role (Senior Architects, Associate, Associate Director) within a similarly forward thinking Architectural company.

The Key Responsibilities of the Associate Director will include:

·Management of day-to-day tasks and activities.
·Management of projects from start to completion, ensuring timely and effective delivery of the solution into production.
·Taking a lead-designers role.
·Help direct company finances, accountable for technical performance, quality and budget control on all projects.
·Developing new clients and maintaining existing relationships. Contributing to wider business development.
·Be confident, with a professional attitude and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
·Inspiring colleagues and mentoring colleagues.
·Develop and implement marketing strategies.
·Hiring new staff and growing the Manchester office.


Core Requirements include:

·RIBA/ARB registration.
·Minimum 8 years post qualification experience (UK based preferable).
·Sound understanding of UK Planning and Building Regulation process.
·High level of design competency. A proven record of delivering quality designs across various project sectors.
·Fluency in AutoCAD and Revit, InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite.
·Full Clean Driving licence and access to a car for site visits when required.

A competitive salary is on offer between £45,000 & £60,000 per annum (Plus Bonus). This will be accompanied by a Mobile Phone, Laptop, excellent pension scheme and countless other benefits.
